In times of great uncertainty, painting flowers became a daily practice of hope.
Composed of layered, sweeping gestures made of acrylic paint, digitally processed into a composite artwork, then printed.
Print edition in a limited number for each flower. The initial set comprises of 64 (16 x 4) original flower species: each of the 16 flower types comes in
4 variations – each a new generation, varying in color, shape and detail
– each of which comes in a print edition of only 6.
Technique combines acrylic painting, photography, hand & digital gestures, pigment printing, and a generative digital component which creates variations of colour, movement and detail in each flower.
